Dear SickenChicken,
Well, first you shouldn't leave your chicken wings out to thaw that long and that is an improper way to thaw them. Also, you should have looked up something online that described to you how you should cook the chicken because yours was incorrectly cooked and still raw.
It sounds like that's some food gone wrong. I would suggest that next time, don't let the chicken thaw out on the counter. Try putting it in the fridge over night. With your ranch, after you make it, put it in the fridge. write yourself a note so that you don't forget the ranch.
The chicken wings sound good, however next time you make them you should be more careful to keep your work area clean while cooking. You forgot to wash your hands in between making your husband's lunch and your son's chicken wings. Also you should always wash your cooking area in between making two separate dishes to prevent the spread of bacteria. And lastly you probably should have left more time to clean up at the end so you could have been more thorough. You forgot to rinse out the sponge after you wiped the counter, leaving it dirty for the next person to use it. Hopefully this is helpful for you the next time you cook for company.
I think that you should of clean the chicken off before cooking it because it's healthy to clean the chicken before cooking it. Also, you should of used new, clean knives to cut the vegetables. It's important that you don't you put the knives in the sink with the other dishes because if washing dishes you made cut you hand. Always make that you use a clean cutting board when dealing with meat because you will be sharing bacteria with the other food that you use. Also, It's always a good idea to make sure you pre-heat the oven before cooking chicken. Last thing, never let the chicken sit out before the guest come over because the chicken could spoil. You should leave the chicken in the oven on low so that when the guest comes over the chicken will still be nice and hot.
